We honor the life and contributions of Maya Angelou, who has made her transition. Ms. Angelou was an early supporter of Just Us Books. She purchased copies of our titles, even donating them to a school in Ghana. At one event, she took founders Wade and Cheryl Hudson by the hand and said "May I thank you for the good work that you do." Ms. Angelou, thank YOU for your great work, tremendous spirit, generosity and activism. You will be missed.
